ellisoniK, a.k.a. Mark Ellison, is an award winning musician, producer and educator working mainly in Dublin, Ireland. From the rigours of busking on the streets of his home town to the high tech world of the recording studio, he has fused a classical music background to visceral, life experience, creating something unique and idiosyncratic in the process. This broad experience has helped make him a sought after music educator, particularly in the field of collaborative arts practice with youth projects in Dublin. Further training at Windmill Lane/Pulse College has brought professionalism to his audio work, which includes composition, live recording and sound production for radio and film. His work has been broadcast on RTE, BBC and WFMU. As a singer and guitarist, he has performed extensively at home and abroad.
