Mark Ellison, is an award winning musician, producer and educator based in Dublin. From the rigours of busking on the streets of his hometown to recording in the studios of Windmill lane and completing a Masters degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Mark has fused a classical music background and visceral, life experience to academic research and collaboration, creating a unique and idiosyncratic audio practice that spans composition, live recording and sound production for radio and film. His work has been broadcast on RTE, BBC and WFMU. A dynamic music educator, particularly in the field of collaborative arts practice with youth projects in Dublin, Mark has also performed extensively in Ireland and internationally as a live singer and guitarist with multiple bands including Kevin Nolan (Fredrick and the Golden Dawn), Sumtones, Johnny Rayge, Rónán O’Snodaigh (Kila), Hazel O’Conor, The Dubliner & Murphy’s Bands (Tenerife), Blacktye, Shane Martin. He is currently in development with singer, LK who is due to release in 2026
